Preparation and Submittal of Papers for the 20^th SOFE

Download Template.doc or Template.pdf and use it to create your IEEE Fusion Symposium paper.   This document can be used as a template if you are using Microsoft Word 6.0 or later.  Cut and paste your text into the appropriate columns. You are required to submit three print-ready copies along with an electronic copy in two formats (PDF and Word format on CD-ROM, Zip, or diskette).

Please note that IEEE SOFE papers will not be peer reviewed.  Your submitted pdf file will be published as provided to us. (The requested word file is for the correction of minor problems due to electronics transfer.)  Therefore, it is extremely important that you follow our recommended format for publication uniformity.

Please name the file as: “paper number Author” where author is the author's last name.  If you have not received your “paper number” look to this web page in the future for a listing of authors and numbers. Please include the primary author’s name and paper number on all submitted media. You can also upload your electronic copies at http://d3dnff.gat.com/sofe03/UploadPaper.aspx .

The following limits apply: Contributed papers — four 8-1/2 x 11 in. pages; Invited papers — six 8-1/2 x 11 in. pages; There will be a $200 charge for each page over the limit, and a $400 charge for each color page. You must submit your completed copyright forms with the paper for it to be published. Download Copyright Forms here. Please use Checklist.pdf to check for completeness of your paper before submission.  We will not have a designated editing room for manuscript modification, please submit your final manuscript to the SOFE office by 5 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2003.
